THEKEY, a decentralized ecosystem of Identity Verification (IDV) tools integrating national big-data and the blockchain, announced it has won a government bidding for a blockchain application in Jiangsu Province, China.
THEKEY will introduce technologies such as QR codes, cloud computing, cryptography, IC card, artificial intelligence, integration of big data, blockchain technology, data visualization, natural language processing, machine learning and GPS along with the China Association of Social Security (CAOSS) and Nanjing branch of China CITIC Bank.
The goal is to realize online issuance of the e-medicare card, and apply THEKEY’s blockchain solutions such as “Healthcare Mobile Payment” and “Pensioner Survival Certification with Big Data Technology” in Jiangsu Province.
“The project has involved six ministries in China including the People’s Bank of China, Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and Ministry of Health. With the support from Chinese Social Insurance Association and Nanjing Branch of China CITIC Bank, THEKEY won bidding for a subproject entitled “Digital Social Security Fund Management and Service” of Jiangsu Province. THEKEY will be the exclusive supplier of blockchain solutions for this project, which marks another achievement in the field of blockchain application for the team.”
