BitcoinAverage, a company which provides real-time and historical pricing data for bitcoin has announced that due to many requests received over the past months asking for trial access to its API, mainly from users wishing to test out the features of its Enterprise plan, they have now made this possible.
Enterprise plans cost $75/month and include 1-second ticker updates, unlimited requests, WebSocket, access to higher bandwidth, custom index generation, free data store access and premium tech support. There are also plans for business and developer use cases.
Anyone on a free plan can make use of this feature starting now. In order to activate the free API trial, navigate to the “Your Plan” page in the account dashboard, and enter the code: ENTERPRISETRIAL14 in the “Activate free trial/extension” section.
Started in 2013, the company launched the world’s first bitcoin price index, which has grown to be a largely adopted and widely cited BTC index. Starting initially with bitcoin to USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, and PLN price pairs, BitcoinAverage has grown its dataset to over 172 different fiat currencies. BitcoinAverage aggregates real-time bitcoin prices based on order books and transactions on over 50 major bitcoin exchanges around the world.
