Cologne-based blockchain security startup Ubirch, announced today it has completed its third round of financing and is receiving new growth funding in the seven-digit euro range.
The principal investors in this financing round are hubraum, Deutsche Telekom’s tech incubator and NRW.BANK.
In total, Ubirch has received several million euros since its inception to build its IoT security solution.
Ubirch uses a fundamentally different approach for securing end-to-end IoT data transmission, called the Blockchain for Things. It generates 100% trustworthy data streams by guaranteeing the integrity and authenticity of each data packet.
Investors in previous rounds include the London-based Breed Reply, Attia Ventures, SchneiderGolling & Cie. AG, BAUWENS digital GmbH and ProInvest Ubirch GbR.
