TradeBlock, a provider of institutional trading tools for digital currencies, has announced that starting on Saturday, January 18th, the company will be updating the constituents on all of its cryptocurrency indices. The process will be wrapped up and end on Sunday, January 19, 2020.
The company offers 10 indices which serve as real-time, replicable, USD-equivalent spot rates for different digital currencies. TradeBlock’s Indices are designed to enhance price discovery, by providing reference rates for underlying digital currencies, using its industry-leading methodology.

The BCX Index will delist the following constituents and currency pairs:
Bittrex: BCH/XBT
Poloniex: BCHAB/XBT

The above changes are part of TradeBlock’s quarterly indices update, whereby revisions, if necessary, are made according to the firm’s Index methodology. Quarterly updates sharpen TradeBlock’s Indices, which are designed to adjust for anomalistic exchange conditions and provide reliable reference rates.
