imToken, a cryptocurrency wallet with built-in exchange, announced today that it has added support for Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Nervos (CKB) and Tron (TRX). The additional tokens join Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Cosmos (ATOM), and EOS (EOS).
Aside from the added coins, the imToken Wallet 2.5.0 version now features TokenCoreX, a new wallet core implementation in Rust. TokenCore X improves the reliability, security, and scalability of the native system by optimizing the underlying core code. With the protection of the underlying technology.
TokenCoreX will soon be open sourced for the community it was built for. The imToken team will launch a developer-friendly product documentation for public chain developers to be able to easily integrate blockchains into imToken.
Specific TokenCoreX benefits include:
- Built in one unified development language (Rust) to reduce the development cost of two platforms and multiple languages, for a one-time development.
- Making wallet management available not only on mobile devices, but other hardware (imKey, Ledger) and servers and web wallets.
- As Rust is widely used in the blockchain field, it will be easier to access the public chain in the future, meaning imToken will able to embrace the community and expand the ecosystem.
Better Optimized DApp Browser
The imToken team has also freshly optimized its DApp browser to better meet personalized needs of users. The imToken DApp browser has been updated with an improved search function, a favorites segcent, and recently used DApp display, with more on the way.
