COTI, a decentralized payment and exchange ecosystem, has announced a new partnership with Davion Pay, a Korean payment solution provider, which serves both the online and offline payment markets.
Davion Pay recently transitioned into the blockchain payment sector from an investment by Coinbit, a leading Korean exchange. Davion Pay is building an open blockchain-based payment solution designed to break down the boundaries of online and offline commerce.
“COTI is a highly respected payment solution in Korea and the blockchain space in general, It is our great honor to partner with COTI and work with some of their advisors in building our Davion Pay product. We expect great things of this relationship and expect further technical integrations between COTI Pay and Davion Pay as our project matures.”
– Brian Lee, CTO of Davion Pay
As part of the partnership, COTI will provide access to its payment technology, payment expertise, and technical advice. In return, Davion Pay will support COTI in the Korean market with introductions to key strategic partners in the traditional payment space along with introductions and assistance with listing on Korean exchanges.
“We’re happy to put previous miscommunications behind us and work with Davion Pay in lending some of our payment technology, technical advice and payment expertise to the Davion Pay project. Korea is of great interest to COTI in both the blockchain and payment sectors so anything we can do to strengthen our foothold in the region and the blockchain and payment industry, in general, can only serve COTI well, both now and in the future.”
– COTI CEO, Shahaf Bar-Geffen
COTI recently partnered with Cardano in order to bring ADA token payments to point-of-sale merchants.
