ForgingBlock, a bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment gateway, today has announced two upgrades with an updated crypto merchant API offering, ForgingBlock Merchant, and ForgingBlock Lightning.
The bitcoin payment processor from ForgingBlock now features a stable and reliable Lightning Public Node that streamlines the creation of direct channels between Lightning Network users.
The Lightning Network is a second layer protocol on top of Bitcoin that allows for instantaneous payment between two parties, accomplished through the network’s expansive bidirectional payment channels.
ForgingBlock Merchant Expansion
It was also announced today that aside from Bitcoin, ForgingBlock Merchant now supports: Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tron, Monero, stablecoin Dai, and most recently Tezos.
Customers can use ForgingBlock Merchant through various shopping cart integrations, including Magento, Opencart, PrestaShop, and WooCommerce. ForgingBlock Merchant enables merchants to accept payments in cryptocurrencies, and it is available with no charge and no fees.
