Binance (BNB), a leading global crypto exchange company, and blockchain ecosystem, today announced it has officially received ISO/IEC 27001 accreditation, a universally recognized information security management system issued by International Security of Organization (ISO).
This makes Binance one of the first crypto-asset platforms to achieve international information security standards. The certification is audited and certified by DNV, the world’s largest accredited registrar and classification society, and United Kingdom Accreditation Service, the sole national accreditation body recognized by the British government.
To obtain the certification, Binance has passed the examination of 114 criteria across 14 categories, including security policy, asset management, operation security, and information systems acquisition, development, and maintenance.
“Security has always been the utmost priority for Binance and our users, and we are honored that Binance’s security management is recognized by the respected DNV and UKAS. We appreciate the great amount of trust that our users have placed in us. We are committed to continuously securing our users’ information and assets by further strengthening our security system. Obtaining the ISO certification is one significant aspect of our security commitment to the industry and our community. We will continue to advance our investment and endeavors in improving cybersecurity defense.”
