NEO Foundation, the organization behind the open source NEO blockchain network, and gumi Cryptos, the blockchain/crypto investor launched by gumi Inc., a leading global mobile game publisher, and developer, announced they have entered into a strategic partnership agreement to provide Japanese market entry support for NEO.
As one of China’s leading public chains, NEO is a decentralized platform that is building a smart economy based on digital assets, digital identity, and smart contracts. Starting with blockchain technology and digital IDs, NEO is digitizing assets while enabling self-management of said assets with smart contracts.
Moreover, like Ethereum, NEO’s NEP-5 standard enables tokens to be easily issued, thus earning the project the nickname of “the Chinese version of Ethereum.”
