Neblio, an enterprise blockchain platform focused on simplifying blockchain technology for business, announced it will work with Chainlink to integrate Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network.
Provably accurate data from Chainlink’s oracle network will give enterprise developers building distributed applications on Neblio’s blockchain a trusted source for real-world data to use for their applications.
Trusted and decentralized data feeds, event data, and payment information will allow Neblio developers to perform actions on the Neblio blockchain triggered by events and data from the real world.
Use-Cases
Chainlink’s oracles will allow Neblio supply chain management applications to accurately catalog and act on data from IoT sensors in areas such as keeping goods at certain temperatures, sealing containers against tampering, and tracking the locations of goods with GPS data.
Trusted data streams from oracles can also be used in a variety of applications that trigger payments. For example, a Neblio application used by a vacation insurance company may automatically trigger an on-chain insurance payment if data from a Chainlink oracle indicates that a flight was canceled or delayed for a certain amount of time.
A health insurance company may build a Neblio application that automatically lowers insurance premiums based upon trusted data from oracles collected from wearable devices, exercise tracking applications, and other healthcare data.
“We’ve chosen Chainlink due to the decentralization, security, and technical maturity of their oracle network. By having access to a trusted and decentralized source of real-world data, Chainlink will allow Neblio developers to build decentralized applications that interact with events and data from our everyday lives. Additionally, Neblio will provide Chainlink and its users with access to a proven and mature enterprise blockchain platform focused on simplifying blockchain adoption for business.”
