BlockMedx, a blockchain company in pharma tech that provides payment-based incentives for patient health, has announced a partnership with CryptoCurve, a wallet technology project that is building front-end applications for the next generation of blockchain platforms, including Wanchain.
CryptoCurve will be providing wallet services for the BlockMedx mobile application. This integration will allow BlockMedx users access to CryptoCurve wallet features directly in the BlockMedx application.
“Partnering with CryptoCurve was an easy move for us. CryptoCurve has all the features we’re looking for in a wallet and we are excited to make those available to our users.”
BlockMedx will be the first application to integrate CryptoCurve’s wallet services, and CryptoCurve CEO Josh Halferty sees this as a first step in becoming a premier service provider.
“Our mission is to increase adoption of blockchain technology. One of the critical ways for us to do that is to support new, innovative applications like BlockMedx, and providing wallet integration services is a big part of that strategy. It supports new companies that align with our mission, it opens up new opportunities for business CryptoCurve, and it helps promote the interoperable standards for blockchain that we’re building on Wanchain.”
This partnership between CryptoCurve and BlockMedx was facilitated by both companies’ strong connections to Wanchain and the WanLabs accelerator program. “Given our shared connection with Wanchain a partnership with CryptoCurve made a lot of sense,” said Brunner.
As part of the partnership, BlockMedx’s MDX token will also be among the first tokens available as a staking reward to Curve Wallet users. The staking feature allows Curve Wallet users to stake their CURV tokens within the wallet to receive token rewards.
“Staking is one of the most anticipated features of the Curve Wallet,” explained Halferty. “Featuring another Wanchain-based token like BlockMedx will be a fantastic way to attract new users to the staking feature and introduce the CryptoCurve community to the BlockMedx project.”
