DREP Foundation, a Singapore blockchain startup that is developing an ecosystem that quantifies and monetizes online reputation value, announced today an investment by KuCoin, a Hong Kong-based crypto exchange. The investment, amount undisclosed, was made through a KuCoin affiliate company.
“Investment is always significant for founders. It not only reinforces belief in the capability of the team, it also represents a shared vision of the future. My team and I are humbled to have been considered for such an investment and are looking forward to collaborating with all our contributors to build our future,” said Xiaolong Xu, co-founder of DREP Foundation.
This investment follows a string of strategic partnership announcements for DREP over the last two months with the likes of multi-layered transaction blockchain Quarkchain, Indian enterprise-grade big data solution Zebi and, Vietnamese travel tech startup Triip.me, among others. The company earlier announced funding from Israeli venture capital company Yozma Group.
“Many people mistake securing funding as a job done. That is wrong. That is less than half the battle. Even after shipping the product, the work does not stop,” Xu added.
