Public blockchain platform Metaverse, and ParcelX, a decentralized cross-border parcel delivery network today agreed to officially move forward with a previously announced strategic partnership. Under the terms of this partnership, both parties will work together to establish a global, cross-border parcel delivery network using blockchain technology.
ParcelX will onboard Metaverse as their first dAPP on the Global ParcelX Network, and will fully utilize Metaverse’s expertise in self-sovereign digital identity. At the same time, Metaverse will open its platform to ParcelX in order to deeply customize and streamline its service offerings.
Metaverse founder Eric Gu will join ParcelX’s advisory team, lending his numerous years of leadership and expertise in the Chinese blockchain ecosystem to the project. Metaverse’s experience in deploying its unique “Avatar” digital identity, devotion to developing on-chain enterprises, as well as the development of its “smart assets freeze & transfer” functionality will be a distinct advantage for the development of the ParcelX network.
Furthermore, Metaverse will leverage its institutional investor network to assist in ParcelX’s private token sale. It will also support the GPX token ICO process and promote it before, during, and after the listing process.
ParcelX stated they selected Metaverse as one of its major strategic partnerships due to its long history and prestige in the Chinese blockchain industry. Furthermore, Metaverse’s dedication to R&D, professionalism, user-friendliness, and technical knowledge will be an indispensable asset to the success of ParcelX going forward.
