It was announced today from crypto and e-money exchange ALFAcashier that the platform now supports Ethereum Classic. Ethereum Classic is a project that preserves the original, unchanged, decentralized Ethereum.
As it stands today, Ethereum Classic is the fifth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization at almost $1.3 billion USD. ETC peaked as high as $23.50 USD on June 19th and now is trading at $13.87 USD.
ETC has been rejuvenated by many developments this year including more listings, especially from Asian exchanges. The coin also forms the basis of Digital Currency Group company Greyscale Investments Ethereum Classic Investment Trust, which launched back in April for qualified investors. The investment company also has an investment trust based on Bitcoin.
