Athena Bitcoin (or shall we say, Athena Litecoin?), the popular Bitcoin ATM and wallet provider announced today they will now start selling Litecoin (LTC) from their automated teller machines.
It should be noted that the Athena Bitcoin Wallet is BTC-only as of now. However, users may use a Litecoin address (beginning with “L”) from the recipient they wish to pay directly at the ATM. Bringing an image of a Litecoin QR code works well or by punching in the Litecoin address manually.
Where can I find an Athena ATM that sells Litecoin?
For now, Athena is testing Litecoin across all its Atlanta-area locations.
