Coincheck, a leading Japanese crypto exchange announced today the listing of Litecoin as well as Dash and NEM (XEM).
Litecoin has been in the news recently as the currency is getting a second look amidst Bitcoin’s block size debate. In the past week, another Japanese exchange bitbank announced plans to add LTC plus European crypto broker BitPanda re-added the currency this month for easy purchase for the greater EU market.
Coincheck, with the addition of NEM, Litecoin, and DASH now deals in a total of 13 different cryptocurrencies.
Exchange clients can buy and sell all listed currencies using Japanese yen (JPY) and Bitcoin (BTC). The additional digital assets listed today have already been added to Coincheck’s live trade interface.
The exchange noted that deposit and withdrawal functions for NEM, Litecoin, and Dash will become available in the coming weeks.
