BTC.com launches 2 new mining pool nodes in EU and Shenzhen

BTC.com, a fully-featured open-source mining pool, and bitcoin wallet provider announced last week the further expansion of its mining pool network connectivity with two new nodes: EU node and Shenzhen node. The previous China node has been renamed to the Beijing node.

The details are as follows:

– The EU node, located in Germany, is for users mining in Europe.
– The Shenzhen node, located in the Shenzhen district, is for users mining in the southern and central provinces of China.
– Beijing node (which was previously known as the China node) is located in Beijing and is for users mining in Northern China.

Note: The sub-accounts between nodes are independent. If Chinese users want to mine in the Shenzhen node, they should create a new sub-account.

As BTC.com’s Beijing and Shenzhen nodes support BGP multi-line, the cross-carrier connections are optimized. If you have been mining with the China node (now known as Beijing node) and had not experienced any issues, then there is no need to switch to other servers. Lastly, the company noted the American node is up and running and no changes have been made there.
