Digital currency exchange Luno (formally BitX) has officially announced that Malaysian customers can now make MYR deposits and withdrawals and make use of all of the company’s services again, such as buying, selling, trading, sending and receiving bitcoin.
Late last year, the company’s Malaysian bank account was suddenly withdrawn, leaving customers unable to process ringgit deposits and withdrawals to and from their Luno account. Despite non-stop campaigning, Luno could not get the bank account reactivated.
Now, after months of meetings, integration, and testing, Luno informed that they have a new bank account and all services are up and running again.
Luno has announced a revised MYR withdrawal fee schedule, and initially, there will be some withdrawal delays. In addition, since March 1st, 2017, the company implemented a volume-based discount for Malaysian customers who trade on the Luno Exchange.
