Wirex, a London-based company who provides a hybrid mobile banking platform that combines bitcoin and traditional finance today informed of a major update to its app for both iOS and Android.
Firstly, the app now supports more languages. If English is not your first language, you can now choose between Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Spanish, French or German.
The company also simplified the registration process and the debit card order process. The company stated there are two reasons for this: to make Fintech easier to use (even for low-tech and non-bitcoin users), and to increase the Wirex user experience. New accounts can also claim a free virtual card from the Wirex app.
Wirex will also now start sending monthly account statement right to users inbox, this is handy for Wirex users who:
- Use Wirex for work purposes and need to claim expenses; and
- Want to keep track of spending habits and manage finances better.
The statements will be sent in PDF format. You don’t need to do any special steps to receive this – it will be sent automatically to all Wirex users.
The Wirex card both physical and virtual support USD, EUR, and GBP currencies at the moment.
